It was the first time we understood the importance of the passage of time and cultural heritage when building a home, and we wished to share it with whoever comes to visit.

Our home was carried out by our good friend and architect Manuel Martins, and its unique design connects nature and traditional architecture, while honoring the simplicity of the original mountain houses.

In our home, we try to make the landscape part of the decoration. We like to have lots of natural light inside and it’s great to have good views of the garden and the surrounding mountains.
Exterior
We work to make a well sized but cozy living room so we have created a nice fireplace to warm the winter weather. Rooms have simple and functional décor with double beds.
